According to @lokithebird, Momoguro’s gameplay fell short of the quality that was originally advertised. The project’s founders provided vague answers when asked about the game, despite claiming that it was already in its beta version.

Furthermore, the gameplay video was only released several days after the project’s launch, which is unusual for a big studio web3 game. The community also noted a lack of updates on the project’s global IP roadmap, cross-promotions, marketing strategies, and social media campaigns. The Twitter feed of the project was also sparse, with promises of future developments.

Although Momoguro insisted on Baobab Studios’ involvement, the investigation revealed that the company was minimally involved and had little experience in developing profitable IPs.

The team members at Momoguro, including the Head of Marketing @Inside_Tokens and the Marketing Manager @Mitchell, have also come under scrutiny. Screenshots from LinkedIn showed @Inside_Tokens bragging about receiving $7.6M from the project’s holders. Interestingly, this information was later deleted from his profile.

This investigation has raised concerns within the NFT community, and many are eager to hear Momoguro’s response to the allegations made by @lokithebird and others.
